IIS-RU Welcomes New Students at Orientation Ceremony 2025
The Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU), organized its Orientation Ceremony for new students of the academic year 2025 on Tuesday, 1 July 2025, at the Auditorium Room, 12th Floor, Srisattha Building.
Dr. Nealnara Wongkerd, University Committee Member and Acting Director of IIS-RU, delivered a warm welcome speech to all new students and presented scholarships to outstanding students in recognition of their academic achievements.
The ceremony featured an introduction to Ramkhamhaeng University and the Institute by Asst. Prof. Dr. Theethavat Janevatchararuk, along with presentations from various departments. Students were also provided with an overview of important academic platforms, quality assurance procedures, and relevant websites to support their studies.
Additionally, students received academic advice and inspiration on the topic “Learning and the Path to Success” from Ms. Bess Barlow, an IIS alumna, and Mr. Charles Arinze Ejesu, a current IIS student.
The event concluded with Breakout Activities by Program, giving new students the opportunity to meet and engage with their instructors and fellow classmates, fostering connections as they begin their academic journey at IIS-RU.
