On Wednesday, 1 July 2026, the Institute of International Studies (IIS-RU) officially welcomed our new students at the First Orientation for Semester 1/2026 at the Sripichit Building Auditorium. 🏛️👋
Here are the highlights from our exciting day:
🏆 Warm Welcome & Scholarships: Dr. Nealnara Wongkerd (Acting Director) greeted the freshmen and presented scholarships to outstanding students for their academic excellence.
💡 Inspiration & Insights: New students gained valuable success strategies from Lect. Schawin Kongthawee (Alumnus), Miss Kyawt Kay Khaing (B.B.A.), and Mr. Jean Mitchell Infantes Carreno (B.A. MAGIC).
💻 Academic Support: Lect. Bess Barlow introduced the university, followed by subdivision briefings on essential tools, platforms, and student support services.
🤝 Program Breakouts: Freshmen met their faculty lecturers, connected with peers, and started building new friendships.
🎉 Campus Life & Student Clubs: Senior students introduced three dynamic, student-led clubs to enrich campus life outside the classroom:
